Explosions were heard in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih during an air raid alert on April 26, local Telegram channels reported.

Before that, the Ukrainian Air Force warned about the threat of ballistic missiles from the northeast.

The Russians attacked an infrastructure facility in the Dniprovskyi district of the region, said the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak. A fire broke out there.

The threat of repeated strikes still exists and residents of the region are urged to stay in safe places until the all-clear is given.

An air raid alert has been declared in eastern and some central regions of Ukraine.

Massive Russian attack on April 27

The Ministry of Energy reported that in the early hours of April 27, Russia attacked power facilities in Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv oblasts, damaging equipment and injuring a shift supervisor at one of the facilities.

DTEK energy company said that equipment at four thermal power plants was seriously damaged.

On the evening of April 26 and in the early hours of April 27, Russia massively attacked Ukraine. The Air Force reported that Russia used 34 missiles, including X-101/X-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS bombers, X-59/X-69 aircraft missiles, Iskander-K cruise missiles, X-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles from MiG-31K aircraft, and Kalibr cruise missiles. Air defense forces shot down 21 missiles.
