Several people were killed and injured in a high-rise apartment building collapse, although the exact number of casualties is currently unknown, according to the Russian Investigative Committee. The collapse occurred during a missile threat alert in the city of Belgorod around 11:20 a.m. EET, with air defenses reportedly active.

Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated on Telegram that the city was under "massive attack by Ukrainian forces," and the building entrance collapsed "as a result of a direct shell hit."
