Russian Media Quickly Abandon Moscow Metro Explosion Story
A story that was immediately reported by Russian media has quickly disappeared without explanation. There's no sign of the story on the state-run Russia Today website, or on LifeNews.ru, which had tweeted about an explosion just over an hour ago, leaving us to assume that it was an accident.
Weird that there were all of these reports and even a video of an #explosion in a #Moscow subway an hour ago. And now...nothing. No news.

So, #Moscow explosion or not? Anyone?

It appears that there was indeed a small explosion in the area of Butovo, but it was a minor incident, according to social media posts from locals. However, there still appears to be no follow up from the Russian news outlets who sent out the first alerts.

Very little else is known at this point, but we'll have more as details emerge.
