Explosion injures 3 in Barber County, sheriff says

BARBER COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — The Barber County Sheriff’s Office says three people have been injured in an explosion at a home in Sharon.

It happened around 11:30 Monday morning in the 100 block of Main Street.

Sheriff Jason LeClair said there was a controlled burn that got too close to a house. He said there was apparently some type of fuel that was stored in the cellar, and it caused an explosion, injuring the three people.
