New Explosion From Colima Volcano Captured on Camera

A new explosion from the Colima volcano on Saturday, December 7, led to a closure of a nearby airport and dusted towns downwind in volcanic ash.

Mexican airport operator ASA tweeted that Colima airport would be closed following the latest eruption from volcano. Colima’s Civil Protection Agency reported that volcanic ash had fallen in Cuauhtémoc, a town located to the southwest of the volcano.
