Search continues for missing teen Keshaun Williams

NEWBURGH HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) — It’s been nine months without a hug and nine months without seeing his bright smile.

It’s been nine months since Sharice Snowden has seen her teenage son Keshaun, and she’d do anything to change that.

“I just wanted to reach out to the community and say this could be anyone one of your kids. I need my son to come back home,” Snowden added.

3-year-old dies after accidental shooting

Keshaun Williams, 17, went missing on June 20, 2023, when he went to a house party in Cleveland and never returned home. The case escalated to an Amber Alert, which is still active.

Nearly every day since, Williams’ family has been working with the organization Cleveland Missing to find him.

During a press conference on Thursday at the Newburgh Heights Police Department, Snowden shared that they are still hoping to get information from the public that leads to her son.

“Please, whoever has my child … please return my child. He has no business being without a parent. It’s not safe. It’s not cool,” she pleaded.

Search efforts have included dozens of people canvassing Slavic Village and sharing flyers with Williams’ description. Williams has also been featured as part of FOX 8’s Missing with Amanda Berry.

Majoy said authorities expect to do another canvass this spring.

Authorities have “no reason to think he’s left the state,” Majoy said. “However, we’re not ruling out anything at this point.”

Snowden is adamant that she will never give up hope searching for Keshaun.

The only way to finish this story: A message from mom to son.

“Keshaun, if you are watching this: I love you. I am going to find you, and I am going to get you home safe,” Snowden said.

There is a cash reward of up to $22,500 for information leading to Williams’ whereabouts.

Anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts is urged to call U.S. Marshals at 1-866-4WANTED (1-866-492-6833). Police Chief John Majoy assured tipsters that they can remain anonymous.
