Jeremy Clarkson's focus in recent years has shifted from fast cars and Grand Tour adventures to farming, thanks to his Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm.

The show chronicles his journey buying and managing a 1,000-acre farm in the Cotswolds, humorously dubbed Diddly Squat.

Both seasons have been immensely popular, with the second season becoming Amazon UK's most-watched original series in 2023.

Now with the release of season three, here's everything you can expect from the latest installment.

What to expect from season 3?

For those unfamiliar with the show's premise, Clarkson’s Farm follows the presenter-turned-farmer as he navigates the complexities of running his own farm.

Viewers have watched as Clarkson has battled crop failure, adverse weather and a global pandemic alongside girlfriend Lisa Hogan and farm hand Kaleb Cooper.

Last season, fans saw the former Top Gear host continue to face off against his local council over the introduction of a restaurant at the Diddly Squat Farm, which was forced to close shortly after opening.

And if viewers thought that the drama would stop there, they are very wrong as the newest series sees the team encounter new obstacles, including rising prices for farm supplies, crop failures due to hot weather, and his ongoing feud with the council.

Fans can also anticipate scenes of Clarkson experimenting with medicinal mushrooms, the introduction of pigs to the farm and a few mishaps with farming machinery.

Prime Video has said the new series will “follow Clarkson as he taps into 513 acres of land on Diddly Squat, including woodlands and lakes, which have yet to be touched.”

Who is returning?

Aside from Clarkson, Cooper and Hogan will return, along with Gerald Cooper, the farm’s security head, and ‘Cheerful Charlie’, Clarkson’s advisor and land agent.

Although everyone appears to have found their roles, it's not all smooth sailing as Cooper revealed that he and Clarkson have their biggest-ever disagreement in the new season.

Cooper recently told The Times: “No spoilers, but in season three, we have our biggest falling-out yet because Jeremy needs to learn to listen to me.

“One of my favorite moments is watching Jeremy get shocked by his own fences, and the last time it happened, I thought, ‘That’s my role really—I need to be his electric fence, preventing him from doing foolish things.’”

When does Clarkson’s Farm Season 3 start airing?

Clarkson’s Farm episodes one to four are streaming on Prime Video from Friday, May 3 while part two airs on May 10.

Will there be a fourth series?

Prime Video confirmed in November that the farming show would be renewed for a fourth serie following the backlash against Clarkson’s controversial column about Meghan Markle.

The column, published in The Sun, garnered numerous complaints, making it the most complained-about article by ISPO.

The fallout led to questions whether the streaming platform would sever ties with Clarkson and the show - but despite fan fears, the streaming service confirmed it would be coming back for a fourth helping.Clarkson also put doubts to rest by confirming the return of the series for a fourth season on his Instagram soon after Prime’ Videos announcement.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a video of him attempting to herd sheep at the farm into the shape of a four, albeit unsuccessfully, and said: “The fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm is coming”.

Clarkson’s Farm series 3 is available to stream on Prime Video now alongside season 1 and 2
