It's that time of year again. It's finally become fall and most stores are decorated for Christmas. That can only mean one thing … Black Friday is right around the corner! Get ready for an influx of sales by firing up your printers, because Black Friday sales are officially here.
With Christmas about a month away, it's now time to get your friends, family, and loved ones gifts. But come Friday, Nov. 23, you'll have to act quickly, because Amazon deeply discounts items through Gold Box Deals, Lightning Deals, and Deals of the Day, which frequently sell out.
Since we're inching closer to Black Friday with each passing day, we thought we would answer some questions, give some tips, and assemble a list of what you can probably expect from Amazon come Black Friday. We know you're excited for all the deals to be had on Black Friday 2018, so we'll be updating this post as they're announced!
When Is Black Friday?
This year, Black Friday is on Nov. 23, so we'll have four weeks and two days between Black Friday and Christmas. It's worth noting that some doorbuster deals start as early as Thanksgiving Day. And don't forget about Cyber Monday, which also has major deals, and falls on Nov. 26 this year.
How to Score Big Deals
We recommend an Amazon Prime membership to get access to the best deals. A membership costs $99 a year (or $49 per year for students). Prime members get free two-day shipping, discounts, exclusive deals, and early access to Lightning Deals. Other perks include access to Amazon's streaming music and video services - Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Prime Music - and cloud storage for your digital photos.
Also, consider getting an Echo or Alexa device to get early access to deals. Amazon announced that customers who voice-shop get access to some of the best deals at 5 p.m. PST on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
