Everything you need to know about MSU vs. MSU Thursday

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — It’s the battle of the MSUs with the number nine-seeded Spartans taking on the number eight-seeded Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The Spartans’ first round is in Charlotte, North Carolina. It begins with MSU hitting the court for a 12:15 tipoff in the NCAA Tournament this Thursday.

The Spartans are playing in the west Region of the tournament and if they win will take on the winner of top-seeded North Carolina v. No. 16-seed Wagner or Howard (play-in teams) on Sat, Mar 23.

Spartans in NCAA Tournament for 26th consecutive year

MSU’s men’s basketball continues its longest NCAA Tournament streak in Big Ten history with 26 consecutive years.

Michigan State’s game can be watched on WLNS (CBS) on Thursday.
