Decades from now, Jelena fans will look back at the last quarter of 2017 as the time Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber added another important chapter to their love story. While nothing has been confirmed, Selena and Justin have been hanging out a lot, and there are photos to prove it. Here is their (same old love) story.

Oct. 22, 2017: Justin, Selena, and their friends are seen hanging out at her home in Studio City until "at least midnight," according to TMZ. The site reports that Justin and Selena first reconnected around the same time Selena revealed she had undergone surgery for a kidney transplant. Adds an Us Weekly source, “He has been great to her since her surgery and they are on good terms right now. They got back in touch recently through their friends and have seen each other at church.”

Oct. 29, 2017: Selena and Justin are spotted going to church together in Los Angeles, sparking the first new rumor that the two have rekindled their romance. As photos obtained by TMZ show, the pair would spend the whole day together, heading to Joi Café in Westlake Village for post-church brunch. Justin is also spotted later that evening driving up to Selena’s doorstep.

Oct. 30, 2017: People reports that Selena and her boyfriend of 10 months, The Weeknd, have broken up after being in the “back and forth” phase of their relationship for a while. According to sources, their work schedules got in the way, with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. People notes that despite the timing of the Jelena sighting the day before, Justin and Selena are not back together.

Nov. 1, 2017: Justin and Selena are spotted riding bikes together in Los Angeles without their helmets. Are they just daredevils? Doesn’t matter, look at them go!

According to Us Weekly, Justin “really wants to get back” with Selena and has been texting her “nonstop.” But at the end of the day, Selena is still in control. As one source put it, “The ball is in Selena’s court right now.” And her head is also gently resting on Justin’s shoulder. No really.

Before the day ends, Selena is spotted with Justin once again, this time at his hockey scrimmage in Los Angeles. There’s hugging, cheering, and is that a smile on SelGo?

It’s unclear whether or not Justin’s team won the game, but it also doesn’t matter. The most important moment of the evening belongs to Selena, who left the building while wearing Justin’s post-game jersey. Love never smelled so good!

Nov. 2, 2017: Us Weekly reports that while Justin was not the reason for Selena and The Weeknd’s break up, Selena has “always had feelings for Justin.” Sources at TMZ also reveal that Justin has been pursuing his ex for months after being “refocused” in wake of Selena’s surgery.

Nov. 4, 2017: Justin and Selena make headlines again after attending service at Hillsong Church in L.A. on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, People reports that Justin is “trying to take things slowly” with Selena, but is “too excited to spend time with her.” He continues to wait “for Selena to tell him they are officially back together” and is not in any rush because “they are already emotionally together.” SWEET.
