Even Adorable WWDC Security Dogs Wear Tiny Apple Badges
Apple has definitely beefed up security surrounding their newest software and hardware developments, working with officers in China to prevent leaks from happening. Here in the States, they protect top secret product information at WWDC with adorable German Shepherd guard dogs.
In fact, security is so tight the pups even have to wear Apple security badges. Attendees at the WWDC yesterday noticed that the dogs had little violet Apple badges dangling from their collars, marking them as the official protectors of iOS 8 and OS X details.
German Shepherds are quite smart, but probably not smart enough to break into Apple's computers before the keynote and leak the presentation, so the badges seem a little unnecessary.
Even though the guard dogs might be a little excessive, they sure are cute:
