Evans High School delaying graduation start time, moving ceremony to Performing Arts Center

EVANS, Ga. (WJBF) – Administrators with Evans High School has released an announcement to delay the graduation start time and move the ceremony for Evans High School due to the inclement weather.

School officials state that in an effort to accommodate the large number of families and guests with tickets, the start time for the Evans High School commencement has been changed to 7:30 P.M.

Administrators say that due to inclement weather and potential lightning, school officials will be going with the contingency plans of moving the graduation into the Performing Arts Center.

Administrators are instructing graduates to report to the staging area at 6:45 P.M.
