Evangeline man arrested for attempted murder after hitting family member with vehicle
ACADIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) – An Evangeline man was arrested after hitting a family member with their vehicle.
According to the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office, a disturbance Thursday night happened when a suspect intentionally struck a family member with their vehicle, causing the victim to roll over the vehicle. The suspect in the vehicle then got out and started hitting the victim with a metal fence post.

The suspect, Tristen Dale LeBlue, 21 of Evangeline, was found at his residence. He was arrested on charges of attempted 2nd degree murder, 2nd degree battery and aggravated assault.
LeBlue was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail. The victim is in stable condition.
