Evan Rachel Wood is pregnant with her first child and the actress couldn't be more thrilled about becoming a mom.

"I'm very excited. I'm over the moon," the 25-year-old beauty told Access Hollywood of her baby news, at the premiere of her latest film, "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Evan, who married "Billy Elliott" star Jamie Bell last October, said she's always known she wanted to have a child.

"Motherhood is my dream and my husband is always the one I wanted to do it with," she said. "So, I'm very happy!"

As for "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman," Evan plays a Romanian woman caught in a violent love triangle (alongside Shia LaBeouf) and the soon-to-be mom said mastering the proper accent was quite a task - especially since a dialect coach was not in the budget for the indie gritty action film.

"I had someone make some tapes for me... so on my lunch breaks I was in my trailer with the CD just trying to study it as much as possible," she explained. "Then once I got [to Romania], I just tried to listen to the locals.

"Luckily, I was filming in the city I was supposed to be from, so if I got stuck on something I could just look at anybody and [ask], 'How do you say this? How does it sound?' and then I would mimic it," she added. "But it was difficult."
