Colombian forward Rafael Borré is joining Internacional Porto Alegre on a contract until 2028, the Brazilian club announced early Sunday.

Borré last played on loan at German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen after two seasons at Eintracht Frankfurt where he was a key figure in their Europa League triumph in 2022.

The Porto Alegre statement said that Borré was to arrive on Tuesday.

Frankfurt and Porto Alegre had an agreement for a transfer after the season but he is now leaving earlier after being no regular player lately in Bremen. The Brazilian transfer window is open until Thursday.

Bremen were yet to confirm the deal but said on Saturday that the transfer was imminent and that he was left out of the squad for Sunday's match against Hoffenheim.

Borré played 19 games for Bremen and 92 for Frankfurt. He scored in the Europa League final against Rangers and then converted the deciding penalty in a shoot-out.
