Escambia County Sheriff’s Office captures, arrests escaped inmate

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested an inmate who escaped on Wednesday from a release facility, according to an ECSO Facebook post.

Daphne man accused of vehicular homicide in Escambia County, Florida

According to the sheriff’s office, Korey Robert Culver, 32, escaped from a facility on North L Street. He was wanted for battery of a law enforcement officer and for escaping.

Deputies found Culver at L Street and Fairfield Drive Tuesday afternoon. He was found just a few hundred feet from the facility where he escaped, the ECSO said.

Culver was booked into the Escambia County Jail before 2 p.m. Tuesday, and he is currently being held without bond, according to the Escambia County Jail View.
