Erie County restaurant inspections for March 7-14, 2024

At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded March 7 through Thursday.

3 critical violations

El Amigo Mexican Grill, 319 State St. (No water at handsink, no sanitizer in dishwasher, door to outside trash propped open.) Also one noncritical violation. Thursday

Two critical violations

UPMC Hamot, 201 State St. (Using too much sanitizer and tuna salad found in fridge at 50 degrees, undated.) Tuesday

One critical violation

Cathay Express, 3 E. 18th St. (Uncooked pork found at 56 degrees.) Also two noncritical violations. Wednesday

Garden Grille Restaurant, 2225 Downs Drive, Summit Township. (Sauce found beyond date mark.) Tuesday

UPMC Women's Hospital, 119 E. Second St. (Using too much sanitizer.) Tuesday

Valerio's, 180 E. 38th St. (Dishwasher using wrong amount of sanitizer.) Tuesday

U Pick 6 Taphouse, 333 State St. (Cooler found holding food at 48 degrees.) Tuesday
