Eric Tries Stalling Chloe On ‘Days Of Our Lives’
They’re back in Salem with the hopes that Nicole will be able to at least say goodbye to Brady before he dies. Now, as she visits with the man she loves, Eric will try and work to keep the woman who could derail everything in Nicole’s life as far away as possible on the Wednesday, May 31 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
After successfully escaping Xander (Paul Telfer) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), and evading capture from the police that swarmed the compound where they were being held captive on the NBC soap, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) were planning on where to go next so Nicole could remain on the run with her daughter, Holly, and also safe from the men who are trying to kidnap her. However, when they then received a call about Brady (Eric Martsolf) officially slipping into a coma as his body prepares to shut down, they changed their plans and decided to risk everything by returning to Salem so Nicole could see him one last time.

Eric has managed to sneak Nicole back into Salem, but it didn’t take long for Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), who knew where he was, to realize he was back, meaning Nicole might be around as well. She’ll waste no time going to Eric to demand answers about where Nicole is, and where Holly is as well. Knowing Nicole needs time to see Brady and then get out of town, Eric will do his best to try and stall Chloe from not only figuring out that Nicole is in fact in Salem, but planning to go on the run once again.

Unfortunately, he may not be able to keep Chloe from figuring out the truth for too long, and she could realize very quickly that Nicole wouldn’t miss out on the chance to say goodbye to Brady. Desperate to get Holly, whom she has legal custody of, back, she may then take action to make sure the police get to Nicole and take her into custody before she can flee town.
Before that happens however, Nicole will be with Brady, heartbroken over what has happened to him since Xander shot him while trying to take her. There doesn’t seem to be any hope for him going forward, because the medications meant to keep his body from rejecting the heart didn’t work, and no other hearts are available, and death seems imminent.

However, Nicole will also try one last tactic in getting Brady to fight to come back. The heart he has is Daniel’s, and though she did move on after her former fiancé’s death, she always knows he’s there and feels his presence. She also knows that Daniel wouldn't want his heart to have gone to waste and would want Brady to fight as well. Using all of her strength, Nicole may try convincing Brady to live by focusing on the heart of the other man she loved. It may not work, but it will be the only thing Nicole has in her arsenal that might encourage Brady and Daniel to both fight.
