Eric Andre Shows His Footage of Mix-Up With Alex Jones
Actor, comedian, and television personality Eric Andre made headlines the week of the 2016 Republican National Convention when he interrupted an Alex Jones rally in Cleveland. Now, in advance of the new season of The Eric Andre Show coming to Adult Swim, Andre has released his footage of the encounter and other shenanigans at the convention.
Andre interviewed people on the convention floor and interrupted other shoots. He even relieved himself on a building, shouting, “Black lives bladder.” The highest of all highlights, though, was his much-covered moment on Alex Jones’s stage. He managed to get some time with the right-wing provocateur and conspiracy theorist but was brusquely removed from the stage when he asked a question about the color of his urine.
Perhaps Andre inspired Jones, who himself ambushed a liberal political show, The Young Turks, later in the week and got them, well, riled up. The fourth season of The Eric Andre Show premieres on Adult Swim on Aug. 5.
