EPA regional head to tour Superfund sites in the Hudson Valley with Maloney, local officials
EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. (AP) -- The Environmental Protection Agency's regional head will tour several Superfund sites in the Hudson Valley.
Regional administrator Judith Enck will join area Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney and local officials Monday to inspect the cleanup system at the Shenandoah Road Ground Water Contamination Superfund site in East Fishkill.
They'll also assess cleanups at two other Superfund sites: Consolidated Iron and Metal in Newburgh and Nepera Chemical in Hamptonburg.
