An entire stairwell of a high-rise building has collapsed in the Russian city of Belgorod.

Details: Prior to that, the Kremlin-aligned media outlet reported that air defence was operating in Belgorod. It was reported at the time that a column of smoke had been rising in one of the city's districts.
Official reports indicate that two people have been injured.
It is unknown what caused the destruction.
Update: Later, it was reported that the roof of the building, which had remained intact from the beginning, had collapsed. Media reports indicate that the rubble could have fallen on emergency workers.
There is no information on how many people are trapped under the rubble.
