Reneé Rapp couldn’t love Justin Bieber more.

The "Snow Angel" singer, 24, appears on the cover of the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter and opened up in the interview about how big of a fan she is of the Biebs, 29. Not only did she gush over her “crush” on the pop superstar, she explained how he inadvertently helped to kick start her music career.

“I was obsessed with him,” the Mean Girls star recalled of Bieber. “He was the one boy celebrity, pretty much, [that] I ever had a crush on.”

Rapp added, “He reminds me of a really sexy lesbian.”

The singer/actor also explained to THR what it is about the Grammy winner that she finds so enchanting. “Just the way he walks around and moves onstage and always has this demeanor that’s chill, sings his ass off, dresses really cool,” Rapp described.

Although the Sex Lives of College Girls actress said that she’s “still” “obsessed” with the “Yummy” artist today, she also told the outlet how her crush has evolved. She shared, “I realized, as I was getting older, I was like, ‘Oh, I think I just want to be him.’”

That realization, in addition to her admiration for his stage presence and talent, ended up informing her own journey as a performer — and how she ended up calling herself “the bisexual Justin Bieber.”

"That was my pitch of myself to my label,” Rapp revealed, adding that it helped her get "signed."

Rapp has made her love for the "Peaches" performer apparent in the past.

At one of her Halloween concerts and tour stops at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre last year, the “Not My Fault” singer covered the pop star’s 2009 hit “One Less Lonely Girl.” Rapp performed the song by doing an impression of how he used to do it on tour, bringing up a fan from the audience and serenading them.

The former Broadway actress ended up pulling The Summer I Turned Pretty star Lola Tung onto the stage and theatrically sang the ballad to her.

To top off the performance, Rapp even dressed up just like the My World era Bieber by wearing a purple hat and sweatshirt paired with a white denim jacket and pants.

Shortly after the show, in a November interview with Teen Vogue at their Teen Vogue Summit, she spoke about how much she loves Bieber.

“He's just always been a staple to me,” Rapp shared. “That was my one boy crush as a kid. I was like ‘that boy is so cute.’ And now I think it's because he looks like a lesbian — which is hot.”

Last year, upon the release of her debut album Snow Angel, the Spring Awakening star opened up to PEOPLE about her journey as an artist.

"[Music] has always been the only way that I know how to cope, the only thing that I really know how to do, and it makes me a full version of myself,” Rapp shared.

She continued, “I think that a lot of my EP thematically had more of a, 'Oh, no, this is what's happening to me. This is what I'm going through' thing, which is great, but I think that Snow Angel is a bit more resilient and it's a bit more matter of fact and has a little bit more bite.”
