‘The Masked Singer’ spoilers: Who is Miss Cleocatra?

“The Masked Singer” season 11 is packed full of talent. One of the best singers of the bunch made her debut on the March 13 episode of this hit reality competition series disguised as Miss Cleocatra. Her crystal clear sound was sustained throughout as she hit one high note after another in her searing cover of the Lena Horne classic “Stormy Weather.”

It was no surprise that the four judges — Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Rita Ora and Robin Thicke — were wowed by this talent. We’ve been rewatching that first performance plus her clues package and have all your “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is Miss Cleocatra”?

We are convinced that Miss Cleocatra is the multi-talented Jenifer Lewis, who has a very distinctive voice, both when speaking and singing. Miss Clecocatra certainly sounded just like Lewis when she purred to host Nick Cannon, “You’re looking good, baby.” Likewise when she took to center stage to raise her voice in song.

Lewis first came to fame in the 1980s as one of Bette Midler’s back-up singers, The Harlettes. She has worked steadily in movies and TV since the 1990s. Among her many guest spots on TV was a recurring role on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” That NBC hit Will Smith comedy was referenced by the sign that read “Bel-Air.”

Miss Cleocatra revealed, “I’ve already worked my magic on an Emmy Award-winning show.” Lewis had a scene-stealing role on the acclaimed ABC comedy “Black-ish,” which kicked off its eight-season run in 2014.

And Miss Cleocrata admitted, “My days were horribly split, going from gorgeous rainbows to horrendous black and white. That’s when I got the diagnosis I never wanted, but so desperately needed.” Jennifer wrote movingly about her mental health struggles and breakthrough diagnosis of bipolar disorder in her 2018 best-selling memoir “The Mother of Black Hollywood.”
