The New England sports’ family is something that is very special. Coming from New England, I grew up on New England sports and it has breaking the boundaries of moving from one part of the country to another over the course of my life.

Tom Brady appreciates that feeling of New England sports’ family with the overwhelming support he has received throughout the entire Deflategate debacle. If the New England fan base wasn’t what it is, it would likely have made the entire process of the Deflategate scandal go much worse.
Ask virtually any New England sports’ fan and they would have told you that Tom Brady got the shaft in the Deflategate scandal. With any real hard evidence, it appeared that Brady was more of a scapegoat than anything and his four-game suspension was a punishment based on the question of who has control to enforce punishments in the NFL.
The whole scenario was a disaster but New England fans stuck by Brady, supporting his fight to the end.
Even with the Deflategate suspension, the New England Patriots were able to go 3-1 as a team using a second string and third string quarterback. Without the dedication of the fans to the Patriots’ team, who knows how the Pats would have performed without the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
Tom Brady is a New England legend and respects the community that he helps represent. When Brady spoke on New England, he said the following.
“I think it’s pretty special,” he said. “It’s the best place to play in the world. It’s a small area that’s so focused on everything that we’re trying to do or accomplish. Whether it’s the Red Sox or Patriots or Bruins or Celtics, it’s everybody all in, all the time.”
There is no question that New England has some of the most devoted sports’ fans in the country. Tom Brady knows this, New Englanders know this and it is a wonderful circle for fans to rally and bond around.
