End of school year reminders

May 17—Huntsville ISD is wrapping up the 2023-2024 school year. Among the end of year parties and plans, the District is enrolling new students for the 2024-2025 school year.

All student(s) who did not end the 2023-2024 school year with Huntsville ISD should register in this process. This includes all incoming Pre-Kindergarten students, too.

All Student Registration is completely processed online for Fall 2024. The online registration link can be found on the HISD website at www.huntsville-isd.org/page/student-registration.

All enrollment criteria and registration requirements can be found online.

All students will be required to provide proof of residency before the registration process can be completed.

The Pre-K Round-Up Early Registration will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 20, at all four elementary campuses.

The original Round-Up date had to be cancelled due to bad weather.

If parents need assistance with the Pre-K online registration process, they are asked to visit the child's zoned elementary campus during the Pre-K Round-Up time, or by appointment at the zoned campus.

If a parent does not know what elementary school their child is zoned for, they will be able to access that information once they begin the online registration process using the Versatrans E-Link search program.

Returning HISD Student Online Registration will open in late May/early June. Parents should monitor the district website and social media pages for all registration updates.

The last day of school for the 2023-2024 school year will be with a 1 p.m. early release time Wednesday, May 22, for all students.

Huntsville High School will conduct their Graduation Commencement ceremony with a 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, in the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum on the campus of Sam Houston State University.
