Emporia man hospitalized in rollover crash

EMPORIA (KSNT) – An Emporia man was injured Tuesday in a rollover crash police say was caused by inattentive driving.

The Emporia Police Department (EPD) announced in a press release that officers were called to the scene of a crash around 8:10 p.m. on May 21 in the 1400 block of Lawrence Street. Upon arrival, police found a 23-year-old Emporia man had struck a parked vehicle.

The man’s vehicle rolled onto its roof in the crash. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The EPD does not mention any other injuries for this crash. Inattentive driving was listed as the primary cause of the incident.
