Emotional moment teenager finds out he's won Harvard University place

Anyone who has just been accepted into one of the world’s most prestigious universities at the tender age of 16 would have plenty to celebrate.

Ayrton Little is no exception – as viral footage posted online proves.

The Louisiana teenager has shared a video of the moment he found out he had been offered a place at Harvard.

Ayton is seen nervously checking his application status online, before jumping for joy when he discovers he has been accepted into the Ivy League institution.

The footage then shows the teenager being mobbed by friends and family, delighted with his achievement.

Posting the news on Twitter, Ayrton said: “All the hard work was worth it. I got accepted to Harvard at 16!!”

The video has since received almost five million views on the social media site and has even produced some potentially huge job offers for the youngster.

Ryan Wyatt, head of gaming at YouTube, replied: “So amazing. Congrats! Hit me up when you graduate and are ready to work at Google.”

The teenager replied: “Are you serious?? I would love to be a part of Google!!!”
