Emory & Henry to host RAM Clinic this weekend

EMORY, Va. (WJHL) — Emory & Henry College will host a RAM Clinic for the community on Saturday and Sunday.

The free clinic will offer dental, vision and medical care to those in need.

No ID is required and dental and medical services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited vision services will be available.

Police: Jonesborough man charged with aggravated assault after threatening to kill victim

The patient parking lot will open no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday and will remain open through Sunday. Clinic doors will open at 6 a.m. Saturday.

The clinic will be set up at Emory & Henry College’s main campus located at 2228 Itta Bena Road.

Spyware maker pcTattletale shutters after data breach
The founder of the spyware app pcTattletale said his company is "out of business and completely done" following a data breach over the weekend. The shutdown comes days after a hacker defaced the spyware maker's website and published links containing large amounts of data from pcTattletale's servers, including databases of customers' information and some victims’ stolen data. The now-defunct app had 138,000 customers who had signed up to use the service, per data breach notification site Have I Been Pwned.

Tumblr, the blogging site acquired twice, is launching its “Communities” feature in open beta, the Tumblr Labs division has announced. The feature offers a dedicated space for users to connect with others on different topics, outside of Tumblr’s main dashboard. The open beta comes six months after Communities launched in closed beta and represents a shift in focus for the social platform under its new parent company Automattic, the makers of WordPress.com. Tumblr's Communities are "semi-private" spaces that have their own moderators, rules and privacy settings.
