Emmerdale's Liam to take action over Ella's secrecy

Emmerdale's Liam Cavanagh takes matters into his own hands next week amid Ella Forster's ongoing secrecy.
Liam recently started a relationship with Ella after they bonded while working together at the GP surgery, but there have been several tell-tale signs that Ella isn't being entirely honest with him.
This week's episodes see Liam adjust to living with Ella after inviting her to move in with him. Liam makes the offer after Manpreet Sharma tells him that Ella has been sleeping in her car.
Ella's secrecy continues when she refuses to let a photographer take her picture and dashes off to avoid the situation.

Mandy Dingle notices the red flags and advises Liam to make sure that Ella doesn't have any skeletons in her closet before things get any more serious between them.
Liam tries to ask Ella about her past, but she finds his questions intrusive and rushes away again.
In follow-on scenes next week, Liam's ex-wife Leyla is next to become embroiled in the Ella mystery.
Leyla becomes suspicious after realising that Ella doesn't have any online presence. She interprets this as Ella having something to hide and becomes determined to find some answers about her.

The couple's work colleague Manpreet also gets involved again, telling Liam about something else she saw regarding Ella.
This finally jolts Liam into action, but will Ella's secret finally be revealed?
Paula Lane, who plays Ella, recently said: "Ella does have a past that is going to be revealed. She does have responsibilities elsewhere outside the village that mean a great deal to her, and I'm so looking forward to exploring this further.
"When something or someone so important to her is put at risk, she will fight so hard to protect that situation. This is a part of her we've yet to see, and there is currently a lot at stake and a lot to fight for."
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 29.
