Emergency Crews Respond to 'Aircraft in Difficulty' at Dublin Airport

Police and fire crews at Dublin airport attended to what the airport said was an “aircraft in difficulty” on October 16.

Video shows emergency crews meeting a Flybe aircraft on the runway. One local report said smoke was seen in the cockpit of the plane, but this had not been confirmed by the airport.

Separately, the airport said 130 flights had been cancelled as ex-Hurricane Ophelia approached the capital. Credit: Twitter/Jimmy Norman via Storyful
