Emergency crews pull car out of Lake Overholser

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Emergency crews responded to Lake Overholser Monday night after a car was found in the water.

Officials say crews responded just before midnight and found the car about 25 feet from the shore.

The car’s headlights and brake lights were still on when crews arrived. The dive team went in to see if anyone was still in or around the car, but no one was found.

“We got on scene and found a car in the water,” said Lieutenant Javvero Baker with OKCFD. “After pulling the car out of the water, nothing was found.”

The car was removed from the lake and no injuries have been reported.
