EMA: Lightning strike leads to barn fire in LaGrange

LaGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — A barn caught fire after being struck by lightning in LaGrange, according to preliminary information received by the Emergency Management Agency.

First responders are present at Murphy Ave. as of about 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. There is no word on damage at this time.

Murphy Ave. is about five minutes south of LaGrange’s downtown area.
