Ella Cruz denies past romance with Xian Gaza
6 Jul - Talented dancer and actress Ella Cruz has recently dismissed speculations of past romance with infamous businessman, Christian "Xian" Gaza.
As reported on PEP, the actress was recently linked to Gaza – who made headlines earlier this week for asking Erich Gonzales out via a billboard and the subsequent allegations of his shady business dealings – when Netizens came across several old photos on Instagram of her and Gaza.
In one of the photos, which Gaza shared online back in October 2016, he wrote, "I don't believe in courtship. It's a waste of time. If I love the person, I'll tell her right away. But for you, I'll make an exception. Just love me now, and I will court you forever."
He also shared a photo of him and Cruz in the same month, and wrote, "I know it won't be EC, but all I want is to ELLAvate our lives and take the CRUZ together", while writing in November, "They say that in every man's success, there's a woman behind, and I want you to be that woman. Not behind, but beside me. Build an empire with you, Gabriela".
When asked about it recently, Cruz responded that they were neither in a relationship nor did he woo her.
However, Cruz admitted that Gaza had tried to contact her as a secret admirer and a big fan at first, and sent her many gifts and flower bouquets. She said that when she eventually met him, Gaza proposed a business partnership with her dance studio. It went well at first, before Cruz decided to pull out.
As for the photos, Cruz stated that she was also surprised by the way Gaza worded his posts about her to make it seem like they were dating.
