Elizabeth Warren gets real about Trump's racial slurs and the importance of fighting against the tax bill

First female Senator Elizabeth Warren made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night where she talked about Trump, her refusal to keep quiet, and the tax bill.

Colbert started off by reading a tweet by Trump in which he refers to Warren as Pocahontas.

Warren responded by saying, "Donald Trump thinks if he's going to start one of these tweets to me with some kind of racist slur, that he's going to shut me up. It didn't work in the past, it's not going to work in the future."

For the duration of the interview, Warren took the time to explain the importance on focusing on the present, "We've got fights in front of us right now... Right now, I mean like this past week and the week coming up, we've got to fight on taxes where the republicans are trying to push through a tax bill that has a trillion and a half dollars in giveaways for giant corporations, for billionaires and they want to pay for it by having working families' taxes increased."

It's worth a watch if you want to stay in the know of how this can affect you.
