Elizabeth River Ferry Waterside service temporarily suspended

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Roads Transit announced that the Elizabeth River Ferry is currently not picking up passengers from Waterside in Downtown Norfolk because of an issue with the waterfront dock.

Service has been suspended from that stop since Friday, April 12 and HRT said it will remain suspended until they can safely restore service. There is currently no reopening date.

The ferries are running from Harbor Park from the North Landing dock in Portsmouth on their regular schedules.
