Electronic Arts names Blake Jorgensen CFO

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (AP) — Electronic Arts named a replacement for chief financial officer for Eric Brown, who left in February to become CFO of Polycom Inc.

New CFO Blake Jorgensen has served in the same position at Levi Strauss & Co. since July 2009. Before that he was CFO at Yahoo Inc. He co-founded investment banking firm Thomas Weisel Partners in 1998. He will start at EA in September.

The video game publisher is scheduled to report first-quarter results after the market closes Tuesday.

Shares of Electronic Arts Inc. slid 11 cents to $11.07 in late morning trading.
