El Paso police investigate fatal stabbing on Texas Avenue in the South Side
El Paso police detectives were investigating a homicide after a man was stabbed inside or near a Sun Metro bus Thursday evening in the South Side, police said.
The homicide is under investigation by the Crimes Against Persons Unit in the 1600 block of Texas Avenue near Cotton Street, east of Downtown, police said.
Detectives are looking for the assailant and witnesses to the stabbing, Sgt. Robert Gomez, a police spokesman, told Channel 14-KFOX.
