El Camino Real reopens in both directions after crash involving tree, power lines

(KRON) — All lanes of El Camino Real were closed in an area of Belmont after a crash Monday afternoon, the Belmont Police Department announced on social media. The crash happened in the area of El Camino Real between Davey Glen Road and Anita Avenue.

As of 5 p.m., the road has reopened.

The crash involved a tree and power lines, police said. It is unknown how many vehicles were involved in the crash. Police did not report any injuries at this time.

The public was asked to take alternative routes. No other details about the crash were released by police. Belmont police first posted about the collision on X at 2:18 p.m.
