EIF Foodmobile giving food to Champaign Co. in April

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — The Eastern Illinois Foodbank’s Foodmobile will be taking a road trip through Champaign County in April to help feed families.

The Foodmobile is a food pantry on wheels that allows EIF to give nutritious food directly to families in underserved and rural areas. Next month, it will travel through southern Champaign County on Tuesday, April 2 and northern Champaign County 10 days later on Friday, April 12. Pre-registration should be done at EIFclient.com, though EIF officials noted this does not guarantee a spot in line. To gather and carry food more easily, attendees are asked to bring boxes or bags.
