Eggs Up Grill to open in Bristol, Kingsport

BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — Eggs Up Grill plans to open new locations this year in Bristol, Virginia and Kingsport.

According to a release, the Bristol, Virginia restaurant will open this summer at 180 Stateline Center in the Kroger Shopping Center.

The 4,160-square-foot restaurant will have seating for 130 people and will be open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will feature dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering, and delivery options.

A location in Kingsport will open later this year, according to the release. A location was not listed, but Fort Henry Mall officials announced last year that an Eggs Up Grill would open on an outparcel.

Both the Kingsport and Bristol locations will be owned by franchise partner Ken Bates and his family. Bates also owns the Eggs Up Grill in Johnson City.

Bates has 35 years of restaurant experience and owned 24 Little Caesars restaurants in Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia.

“It has been an honor to expand Eggs Up Grill in the Tri-Cities market, as it’s my home,” Bates said in the release. “The response from the community has been wonderful, and we are excited to begin serving the best breakfast, brunch and lunch in town to our neighbors in the Bristol community this summer.”

The self-described “popular breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot” serves a variety of items from omelets and other classic breakfast dishes to burgers and melts.
