Rittman hosting Easter breakfast, egg hunt, basket giveaway

RITTMAN −Rittman is hosting three Easter events on Saturday, April 1 − Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt and a drive-through Easter basket giveaway.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be held 7-11 a.m. at the Rittman Fire Department. The cost is $9 for those over age 8 and $7 for senior citizens and those under age 8.

The Easter egg hunt will begin at 2 p.m. in First Street Ashton Hall Park at the corner of First and Shong streets.. The event is free. There will be prizes for those who return the empty plastic eggs to be used for next year's event.

The event is sponsored by Wilging Construction, Rittma IGA, Busic Daycare, the Server, Rittman PTO, Rittman Rec Center, Rittman H and R Block, Anchor Heating and Cooling, Rittman Automotive, Rylon Printing, Around Rittman, the city of Rittman, Milton Presbyterian Church and residents of Rittman.

In the event of rain, the event will be moved to the fellowship room/community room of the Milton Presbyterian Church, 250 North St.

The fourth annual Rittman Chamber of Commerce Drive-Thru Easter Basket Giveaway will begin 3 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce, 44 S. Main St. Upward of 500 Easter baskets will be given to area children. Baskets presented on a first come, first served basis to school-aged children. Children must be present to receive a basket. Baskets and items were donated by businesses and members of the community.

Killbuck Easter Egg Hunt

KILLBUCK − The annual Killbuck Easter Egg Hunt will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Killbuck Park. Children up through age 10 are welcome. The event is sponsored by the Killbuck CIC, Killbuck VFW Post 7079 Auxiliary and Killbuck Thrift Store.
