Educator Honor Roll: Derrick Thomas, Martin Luther King Elementary
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) —Many teachers across the Tennessee Valley go above and beyond for their students, and we want to recognize them — with our Education Honor Roll!
This Wednesday we want to introduce you to Derrick Thomas, a P.E. teacher at Martin Luther King Elementary.
“This teacher cares about the children as if they were his own. He’s the Physical Education teacher, and we feel that he’s the best in our school system,” principal Craig Williams said about Thomas. “The kids love him and he has really made a difference in our school, at MLK Elementary.”
