Edmonds driver knocks down powerline, goes through fence in suspected DUI
A driver knocked down a powerline and went through a fence in Edmonds on Sunday.
The Edmonds Police Department said it is investigating the collision as DUI. The woman’s car went through a fence and down an embankment in the 23400 block of 100th Avenue West.
Power was cut in the area as a result of the crash.
Police said the woman, who is in her 50s, is fortunate to have no serious injuries. She is being evaluated at a hospital and is suspected of driving under the influence.
