Ed Sheeran Signs Foy Vance To His Gingerbread Man Record Label

Ed Sheeran is going from strength-to-strength with his Gingerbread Man Records, and after signing the ridiculously talented Jamie Lawson, he’s now got the fantastic Foy Vance on his roster.

HURRAH.

Foy Vance has toured with Ed in the past, and co-wrote his ‘X’ album tracks ‘Tenerife Sea’ and ‘Afire Love’.

Eddy has also covered Foy Vance’s songs in the past, including ‘Make It Rain’ for the season finale of Sons Of Anarchy. He also guested on Vance’s ‘Joy Of Nothing’ album track ‘Guiding Light’.

Speaking about joining Ed’s record label, Foy Vance said: “I feel a deep sense of peace signing to an artist led label, not least of all because the artist in question is our Ed.

“Every time I’ve turned around in the last few years he has had my back.”

The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer is also super excited about his second signing, explaining: “I am very happy to reveal Foy Vance as my second signing to Gingerbread Man Records.

“Foy’s always been an artist I’ve admired since meeting him in 2006. We’ve become touring buddies over the past few years and he’s actually out in Australia with me at the moment on the final leg of my X tour.

“His vocals are going to blow you away and I can’t wait for you all to hear the record.”

We can’t wait to hear it either, Ed.

The singer launched Gingerbread Man Records under Atlantic Records in August (along with a YouTube channel), with first signing Jamie already enjoying huge success.

Congratulations to you both, Ed and Foy (and Jamie, of course).
