Ed Sheeran Reveals Bands He’s Braved Long Lines to See

On Today, Ed Sheeran drew one of the biggest crowds in the show’s Concert Series with an estimated 12,000 fans in attendance. Many of the fans waited in line overnight to catch a glimpse of Sheeran, so Sheeran shared the musical acts he’s waited in long lines to see.

“I lined up to see Green Day. I lined up to see a band called Nizlopi. Jason Mraz. I was front and center most Jason Mraz shows in England. So I totally understand it,” Sheeran said.

The size of the line for the show was a big deal because the Today anchors seemed to talk about that almost as much as the concert itself. Apparently it reached all the way past Radio City Music Hall and didn’t stop until 57th street. Of course, that means nothing for those without knowledge of New York City. According to Savannah Guthrie, it’s about eight or nine city blocks.
