ECU vs. Texas Longhorns baseball video highlights, score in Friday's super regional Game 1
The Texas Longhorns and East Carolina Pirates baseball teams meet in Game 1 of the 2022 NCAA Tournament Greenville Super Regional best-of-three series on Friday, June 10.
ECU defeated Texas 13-7.
East Carolina improved to 46-19 overall. Texas went to 45-20 overall.
Game 2 of the best-of-three series is scheduled to start at noon ET/11 a.m. CT on Saturday, June 11.

East Carolina's Jacob Jenkins-Cowart hit a double to right field that drove in two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. Lane Hoover and Bryson Worrell scored on the double. Those two runs put ECU up 12-7 vs. Texas.

East Carolina Pirates' Alec Makarewicz hit a solo home run that went in and out of the glove of Texas center fielder Douglas Hodo III. The Makarewicz homer put ECU up 9-7 vs. Texas in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Texas Longhorns' Ivan Melendez hit a solo home run down the left-field line in the top of the sixth inning. Melendez cut the ECU lead to 7-3.

East Carolina Pirates' Bryson Worrell hit a solo home run over the right-center field fence in the bottom of the fifth inning. Worrell's homer put ECU up 7-2 vs. the Texas Longhorns.

East Carolina Pirates' Jacob Starling hit a two-run home run over the left-field fence in the bottom of the fourth inning. Ben Newton also scored on the homer. Starling's home run put ECU up 5-2 vs. Texas.

Texas Longhorns cleanup hitter Murphy Stehly hit a two-run home run over the left-field fence in the top of the first inning. Douglas Hodo III also scored on the homer. Stehly's home run put Texas up 2-0 vs. East Carolina.
