TRI-CITIES, Tenn./Va. (WJHL) — An Easter Market in Johnson City, a Toy and Hobby Show in Gray, a Prom Dress Sale in Bristol and much more are taking place this weekend in the Tri-Cities.

Below are events happening throughout the region from Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 10.

Kingsport Home Show

Hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater Kingsport. Vendors include roofers, construction companies, lawncare, banks, realtors, pool and spa providers, fencing businesses and more. Admission is $5.

East Tennessean Breakfast Fundraiser

Breakfast fundraiser to support the student-run newspaper of East Tennessee State University. Tickets are $5 each.

Dollywood opens for the 2024 season on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Tri-Cities Toy and Hobby Show

Various items, collectibles and more will be for sale at the show. Proceeds will go towards benefiting local causes.

Milligan Highway Cleanup

Roadside cleanup will remove litter from Milligan Highway between Highway 321 and Okolona Road.

  • Meet in Happy Valley Elementary School parking lot at 10 a.m.

  • Trash bags, grabbers, safety vests, water and gloves will be provided

Kingsport Renaissance Art Center Acrylic Pouring

  • Gloves, trash bags, breakfast and a T-shirt will be provided

  • Celebration afterwards at 4 p.m. at the Watauga River Lodge (643 Smalling Road)

Happy Tails 5K Run and 1K walk

All proceeds will go towards the Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter.
