EastEnders’ Zack and Lauren are caught out in early iPlayer release

EastEnders spoilers follow from Thursday’s episode (May 16) which hasn’t yet aired on BBC One.
EastEnders’ Zack Hudson and Lauren Branning have been caught out once again in the show’s latest episode.
Last month, the pair slept together behind Whitney Dean’s back, with Whitney’s step-mum Bianca finding out about their betrayal shortly after.
Lauren almost told Whitney about their cheating while they were stuck in the taco van during Zack and Whitney’s joint stag and hen do, but Whitney’s waters broke before she could.

In today’s episode, the pair remained trapped while Whitney went into labour, as Penny, who originally locked them in, was waylaid by Amy.
Thankfully, Lauren was able to sound the alarm from the van, and Bianca came to rescue them in time.
When she arrived at the hospital, Whitney found out that her midwife was Lynsey, the nurse who delivered her baby Peach, who she and Zack lost last year.
This triggered traumatic memories for her, as she was scared that history would repeat itself, but she was reassured by Britney.

Meanwhile, Sonia drove a drunk Zack to the hospital, and he arrived just as Whitney gave birth to her baby girl.
Zack and Lauren later had a conversation in the hospital corridor, where they swore never to tell anyone about their secret.
"We ain’t done nothing," Lauren told him. "At least that’s what we’ve got to tell ourselves, keep telling ourselves, cos Whitney is happy. And she loves you. We’ve got to take this one to the grave."
Zack agreed, saying: "Nothing ever happened. We never slept together."

However, the pair were horrified to discover that Britney had overheard their conversation and therefore knew about their betrayal.
Britney rushed into Whitney’s hospital room to spill the beans, with Zack right behind her, but she was stopped by Whitney wanting to take a family photo.
As Whitney revealed that they had named their daughter Dolly Dean Hudson, Britney and Zack shared a look, with Britney furious at what she had just discovered.
