EastEnders villain James Willmott-Brown suffers a shock collapse this Christmas, as his lies and deceit finally catch up with him.

Willmott-Brown (William Boyde) is starting to lose his tight grip on his family, and his daughter Fi Browning will be the next person to turn against him.

We've already seen Fi (Lisa Faulkner) struggle with Kathy Beale's unsettling revelations about her father, but EastEnders' Christmas episodes will see her realise the full truth at last.

Fi breaks into Willmott-Brown's office to exact her revenge and when he later returns to work, he's horrified to discover that someone has been in his safe.

Willmott-Brown is very nervous when he sees that an incriminating document has been left out in the open, which could expose his dodgy dealings once and for all.

The schemer's worst fears are realised when he hears the police approaching, so he frantically tries to destroy the evidence before it's too late.

Struggling with the pressure, Willmott-Brown suddenly collapses to the ground – but has he done enough to cover his tracks? Could his health issues be catching up with him, after he previously told Kathy he has terminal cancer?

EastEnders airs these scenes in a dramatic double bill on Thursday, December 28 at 8pm and 9.30pm on BBC One.
