EastEnders hints at Nadine secret in Jay baby story

EastEnders has hinted that Nadine Keller could be hiding a secret as her story continues next week.
Jay's life was turned upside down in the show's latest episode (April 15), when Nadine got in touch with him out of the blue and announced that she was pregnant with his baby.
Although it takes him some time to come to terms with the news, Jay is determined to do the right thing and meets with Nadine again in next week's scenes.
Despite his good intentions, it's not long before Jay and Nadine start arguing when he questions the baby’s paternity.
Nadine insists the baby is his, and even reveals that they are expecting a girl.
Touched, Jay promises to be there for both Nadine and the baby, and gives her some money.
Nadine returns to Jay's later in the week, where she apologises to him, Honey and Callum for causing upset with Lexi over the pregnancy.
As they make amends, Nadine is overcome with guilt when she realises just how serious Jay is about the baby.
Afterwards, Jay decides to treats Lexi and Nadine to lunch at The Vic so the pair can bond.
However, when Lexi is unable to contain herself, it’s clear a rift is starting to grow between her and Nadine...
Discussing the story, Jamie Borthwick – who plays Jay – said: "Jay steps up to the responsibility that he doesn’t want.
"We all know Jay is a good man, as Perry Fenwick [Billy] calls him. He is a good man and he certainly lives up to responsibility.
"I think he gets sucked into this dream, he buys into it and he absolutely has no reason to not believe it.
"He is up for all of it and he steps up when called upon because he is a good man."
